What is Melasma?

Melasma is a common condition characterized by large, uneven patches of brown or tan spots on the face. This excess of melanin can be a result of several factors including: hormonal changes during the aging process, sun exposure, birth control pills or pregnancy. What is Soft Peel?

How does it work?

Treating both dermal and epidermal Melasma, this combination treatment destroys the excess melanin responsible for Melasma or PIH. A photo-enhancer is applied to the skin and targeted with laser energy to break down the excess pigment in the skin. Over the course of several treatments—the dark patches will gradually fade away to reveal a more even complexion. The skin is clearer with improved texture and a lessening of fine wrinkles. As the skin is tightened and rejuvenated—a visible shrinking of pore size occurs.
