What is Selphyl?

Dr. Curry was among the first injectors in Canada invited to learn about Selphyl, a revolutionary new procedure, in the fight against aging. While the line-filling effects are similar to other fillers on the market, Selphyl is unique in that it uses platelets from a client’s own blood to naturally stimulate collagen renewal.  Results are very long lasting—up to 20 months or more.

How does it work?

Using a tablespoon of the patient’s blood, a simple centrifuge process is employed. The resulting all-natural product is then injected into the treatment area; stimulating new tissue growth and collagen. As volume increases—lines, wrinkles, folds and acne scars are filled in naturally. Accumulative results may be seen within 2 weeks, with full results evident between 3 and 6 months.
