What is ProFractional?

The ProFractional laser addresses this damage and stimulates the growth of new collagen. Wrinkles and scars are smoothed and plumped, brown marks fade and the skin is tightened. How does it work?

The ProFractional targets damaged tissue by creating tiny microchannels beneath the skin’s surface. This stimulates the skin’s natural healing process to form a new collagen base. As damaged cells are replaced with new and healthy tissue – your skin is rejuvenated; appearing younger and fresher, with improved color, tone and texture. It reaches greater depths than all competing fractional devices, allowing us to tailor the settings to each individual and provide the deep correction necessary for a more flawless skin.

How does it differ from other technology?

Standard ablative lasers remove the top layer of skin, a painful process that requires several weeks to heal. ProFractional technology targets only damaged tissue, allowing the healthy surrounding tissue to speed recovery time from several weeks to a few days, without the pain or risk of infection.

Non-ablative lasers such as the Fraxel leave treated tissue behind in the skin, trapping excess heat from the debris. The ProFractional instantly removes this debris and unnecessary heat, providing the same degree of collagen renewal without the irritation, sloughing, and prolonged swelling.

Treatment program

ProFractional is typically completed in a series of 1-4 treatments, based on the level of improvement you desire. Healing occurs within the first 3 days, and most patients are able to return to work within 2 days following the procedure. With little disruption to your daily routine, you can rejuvenate your appearance quickly and comfortably. Results are progressive and can last for years depending on your skin condition and aging process.
