What is Laser Hair Removal?

How does Laser Hair Removal Work?

With each application of the laser hand piece to the surface of the skin, pulsed light or infrared laser energy is delivered to the hair follicle, deep down to the root tip of the hair. The pulsed light and laser energy heat and damage the follicle, stopping its ability to produce hair – all without harm to the skin that surrounds each follicle.

How many treatments will I need?

Hair grows in three stages – the anagen, catagen and telegen. Only hair that is in the anagen, or first stage of growth can be successfully treated. Typically you will require 4-6 treatments at intervals of 4-8 weeks in order to achieve full hair reduction at the treatment site.
