What are Cosmetic Injectables?

Collagen and Hyaluronin are naturally present in our skin and are responsible for skin repair, structure and volume. As skin ages these components break down and are not as readily replaced by normal cell regeneration as they once were. Signs of aging become apparent and you begin to notice facial lines, folds, wrinkles and thinner lips with less definition and fullness. Cosmetic injectables are primarily used in the lower half of the face. They offer a safe, temporary to semi-permanent solution to replace volume in dermal tissues – for a natural, youthful effect.

How do Cosmetic Injectables work?

A fine needle is used to inject a clear, viscous fluid containing synthetic Collagen, Hyaluronin or biocompatible implant material. As the fluid is injected, lines and wrinkles are plumped up and erased from the underside of the skin. The hyaluronan and collagen in our injectables are non-animal based formulations designed to mimic the naturally occurring hyaluronan and collagen found in the human body. Because they are non-animal in origin and so close in formulation to our own body chemistry, no pre-testing for sensitivity is required. The effects of our injectable fillers are immediate and there is virtually no recovery time. You may choose from a selection of cosmetic injectables that offer a temporary effect lasting from 4 to 6 months, or if you are looking for a more permanent solution, you may choose an injectable that lasts for years.
